What is Design?
I think that design is a unique way to organize elements. I think that design can also be anything but it has to have some kind of meaning. Like what is the design intended for? Or who is going to view the design? Questions that put more meaning to design and its purpose for being designed the way it was designed. I think as a Graphic Designer, one of our key objectives is to use design to convey a message to our viewers. We use design to connect the viewers with something, sometimes that’s a call for action or simply to inform. It’s hard to think when we design without purpose. Sometimes design can be nice and sometimes it can be abstract, but regardless it has a purpose to why it was designed that way. Like art, I think that design has the power to raise awareness to the viewers. Sometimes it can also be used to promote something or get the viewer's attention. Design is important because it gives us communication. Design is everywhere!
