Hello, my name is Jorge Aguiniga, I’m from Stockton, California. I’ve been living in Stockton since I was three years old. I grew up in South East Stockton, to a low income family. I’m Mexican American, I am a first generation college student. I currently attend the University of the Pacific, I recently turned 22 this month on October 2nd. I am working towards my BFA in Graphic Design. I have my Associate’s degree in Graphic Arts and Art from San Joaquin Delta College.
After I graduate from college I want to continue to grad school to obtain my masters and potentially teach graphic design at a college level. High school wouldn’t be too bad either. I would also consider teaching studio art courses as well. I am also very interested in photography. During my spare time, I like to read books, play video games, watch movies, play basketball, listen to music, and try new food. I also like to travel and explore the outdoors whenever I can. That is one of my favorite things to do when I feel overwhelmed with school or work. I don’t have any pets and I’ve never had one in my life. I hope in the future to get a dog or a bird.
