Knowledge & Creativity
I believe that we do need to have some knowledge of what we are creating because that way we can use our knowledge to help form our creativity. We can’t simply use our knowledge and not know what we are applying to our work. The way that we use our knowledge of the elements and principles is a way of being creative with our compositions. Sometimes we are creative by accident, but I think it’s better if we are creative on purpose. I believe because of this, knowledge and creativity can go hand and hand with each other. Knowledge & creativity are very important to being an artist & designer because this is where we get our ideas to get our message across.
I think we can look at other artwork & designs for inspiration, that would help us grow our knowledge and creativity.
